A major in the wildlife service has disappeared in Wau County of Western Bahr al Ghazal State on Sunday. He was reportedly abducted, but this has not been confirmed by the authorities.

Major William Kuol Angui, commander of wildlife forces in the Bazia area, disappeared while on his way by motorcycle from Bazia to collect salaries in Wau, the state capital.

This reportedly occurred more specifically in the area between Taban and Busiri in Wau County.

Radio Tamazuj tried to contact County Commissioner Angelo Taban for explanation of the incident, but he could not be reached.
