Clashes over grazing land at Koputa area in South Sudan’s Terekeka state have killed at least six people and wounded 13 others over the weekend, a local official said.
“There was fighting between youth from Mundari tribe on 23 and 24 December which claimed lives of 6 youth and wounded 13 others,” information minister in Terekeka state, Philip Ladu told Radio Tamazuj today.
Philip said the relevant authorities have started to carry out investigations into the incident to arrest the culprits.
He said that the security situation returned to normal after the incident.
