A group from the Sudanese paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have allegedly harrassed members of police in Abu Hajjar town in Sennar state on Sunday, multiple sources said.

The militia group arrived in the area recently as part of government reinforcements to fight against the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North (SPLA-North).

The same sources told Radio Tamazuj that the group has been harassing citizens, saying they recently assaulted a nurse at Abu Hajjar Hospital.

Radio Tamazuj was unable to reach RSF commanders to comment on the citizens’ claims.
