Civilians fear that the kidnapping of children is on the rise in al Muglad town of South Kordofan state after the arrest of a person who stole a young child last week.

The authorities and relatives of the child managed to arrest the kidnapper, who was placed in al Muglad prison.

“The case was completed and he will be presented to the court in the coming days” said Babo Madani Jumaa, the uncle of the child told Radio Tamazuj. He added that many others are worried about similar events happening to their children.
