Displaced citizens inside the UN Protection of Civilian’s Site (PoC) in South Sudan’s capital Juba said that they are increasingly concerned about the fate of three displaced people who were taken and detained by the UN police in the Jebel camp.

A displaced person told Radio Tamazuj yesterday the UN police took three displaced people following a search operation to collect guns inside the camp. He pointed out that they are concerned about the whereabouts of the three detainees.

Separately, several displaced families denied reports that many internally displaced persons were relocated to their areas of origin in Unity, Jonglei and Upper Nile States, saying those who left the UN camp were living outside.
