Residents at Al Zarafa area in Al-Tadamoun locality in Sudan’s South Kordofan State have expressed their concerns about deteriorating security situations and increasing cases of robbery in the area.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, several citizens said that the area is witnessing rampant insecurity, saying a lot of money was looted from fuel trucks that supplied the area with fuel recently.

The complaining citizens said that over one million Sudanese pounds was also robed at gun point near Al Wakra market. They also pointed to increasing cases of robbery along the Al Tartar-Wakra area.
