Church leader says assistance needed after clashes in Kajo-Keji

Humanitarian assistance is needed for displaced people who fled their homes following clashes in Kajo-Keji, in the proposed Yei River State, a church official told Radio Tamazuj.

In an interview on Tuesday, Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Kajo-Keji Haily Kajamino said that the situation has come to normal after the clashes and some people began to return to their homes. But he said that about 500 families are still living inside churches in different parts of Kajo-Keji.

He said that the displaced people are receiving some assistance from the local communities and the church but are in dire need for more assistance so that they can return to their homes.
