Sudanese authorities bulldozed the Sudanese Christ Church at El Izba residential area (Tayibat El Ahamda) block 19 in Khartoum North suburb.

Matta Kuath, an evangelist of the demolished church, criticized the authorities for the demolition.

The priest told reporters that authorities only gave them three days’ notice to evacuate.

Kuath said authorities smashed several houses and the church without taking into account residents' needs or the sanctity of the building as a house of worship.
