Police have said the nation’s capital Juba has had a largely peaceful Christmas season, pointing out that there were no incidents of crimes registered within the city since yesterday.

Police have said the nation’s capital Juba has had a largely peaceful Christmas season, pointing out that there were no incidents of crimes registered within the city since yesterday.

Police spokesperson, Daniel Justin Boula told Radio Tamazuj this morning that that the general security situation is stable, saying no criminal incidents have been registered in Juba.

“We have not received any cases. People have gone to pray normally, and the security situation in general is clam. Through Radio Tamazuj I want to pass my greetings and best wishes to our people during this Christmas,” Daniel said.

According to Daniel, there were only a few incidents of children who got lost but found later. “We are still monitoring the security situation across our country. I am following now with the states,” he said.
