Child rights organization launched in Sudan

Sudanese activists and a group of civil organizations concerned with child protection issues in Sudan have launched an organization to protect child rights in Sudan.

Osman Al-Agib, a Sudanese lawyer who works for child protection described the establishment of the child protection organisation as a big achievement to protect Sudanese children from the many atrocities that they have been exposed to and continue to be exposed to.

He said they have completed all the processes of registration with the country’s Humanitarian Aid Commission.

Al-Agib revealed that prominent Sudanese leaders including diplomats, legal experts and journalists are part of the membership of the organisation.
