A leading civil society organization said South Sudanese women who are serving in the military service must be given high ranks like their male colleagues.

A leading civil society organization said South Sudanese women who are serving in the military service must be given high ranks like their male colleagues.

Speaking at the opening of women workshop in Juba on Friday, Executive Director of the Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO) explained that women continue to play a very important role in all spheres of life in South Sudan.

He pointed out that women deserve to be promoted to high ranks for their support and tireless efforts towards peace in the country.
