The Revitalized Transitional Government of Central Equatoria State, on Monday, presented six new Toyota Land Cruisers to state government officials. The handover was carried out through the State Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Investment, under the guidance of State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony.

Viana Kakuli Aggrey, the State Minister of Trade and Planning, explained that the vehicles were allocated to enhance the operational capacity of the state government. She expressed gratitude to Governor Adil for his support throughout the procurement process, saying, “The State Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Investment is pleased to hand over six new Toyota Land Cruisers, specifically designated for the six counties within Central Equatoria State and the State Secretariat. I want to take this opportunity to thank His Excellency the Governor for his guidance in facilitating the acquisition of these vehicles.”

She emphasized, “These six vehicles are going to be distributed as follows: Kajo-Keji County, Yei River County, Wonduruba Payam Administrative Area, the State Secretariat, the Office of the Deputy Governor, and lastly, to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This ministry played a pivotal role in mobilizing resources for the procurement of these vehicles, and we believe it should be included in their distribution.”

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor Sarah Nene expressed her satisfaction with the arrival of the vehicles and commended Governor Emmanuel Adil’s leadership for prioritizing the mobility of state officials. She highlighted the importance of these vehicles in facilitating the efficient execution of government programs.

“I am delighted today because these vehicles have been delivered. They will be used to support the work of the state, making tasks easier, particularly in the counties. Without these vehicles, executing government programs and official duties would be significantly more challenging,” stated Hon. Nene.

The brief handover ceremony was attended by various cabinet members, the Secretary-General of the State Government, and other prominent government dignitaries.
