Central Equatoria caretaker governor replaces ministers

Central Equatoria State Caretaker Governor Juma Ali Malou issued decrees yesterday evening sacking state cabinet ministers appointed by the previous Governor Clement Wani Konga and appointing new ones.

Central Equatoria State Caretaker Governor Juma Ali Malou issued decrees yesterday evening sacking state cabinet ministers appointed by the previous Governor Clement Wani Konga and appointing new ones.

The decrees on Tuesday were read out over South Sudan Television (SSTV). Below is a list of the newly appointed cabinet:

  1. Wani Tom Sebit, Minister of Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs

  2. John Ijino Lako, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning

  3. John Modong Santo, Minister of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Investment

  4. Emmanuel Khamis Rachael, Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Rural Water

  5. Michael Robert Kenyi, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry

  6. Osman Laku Wani, Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries

  7. Dr Felix Lado Johnson, Minister of Health, sanitation and Environment

  8. Clement Marial Samuel, Minister of Education, Science and Technology

  9. Dabe Francis Murye, Minister of Culture, Antiquities, Youth and Sports

  10. Oliver Mule Gabriel, Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement

  11. Maka Mustafa Fataki, Minister of Gender and Social Development

  12. Michael John Konga, Minister of Labour, Public Service and Human Resources Development

  13. Minister of Cooperatives and Rural Water – Not yet appointed

However, the Mayor of Juba City Council Christopher Sarafino Wani Sawka, and his Deputy for Administration and Finance Hakim Deng have been reinstated into their positions.
