Central Equatoria caretaker governor replaces deputy governor

Central Equatoria State Caretaker Governor Juma Ali Malou has issued a decree relieving deputy governor Manase Lomole Apollo Waya from his position as the deputy governor and appointing Soba Samuel Manase as his new deputy.

Central Equatoria State Caretaker Governor Juma Ali Malou has issued a decree relieving deputy governor Manase Lomole Apollo Waya from his position as the deputy governor and appointing Soba Samuel Manase as his new deputy.

The newly appointed deputy governor Soba Samuel had served before as State Minister of Information. Both decrees were read out over state-owned television SSTV yesterday evening.

On Wednesday, Governor Malou has also issued a separate decree relieving four commissioners of Lainya, Terekeka, Yei, and Moroba counties and appointing new ones. Meanwhile, the commissioners of Juba and Kajo-Keji remain in their positions.
