At least eight children have been abducted and killed in an attack by cattle raiders in Pagor area of South Sudan’s Lakes state last week.
A family member of one of the children told Radio Tamazuj that a group of cattle raiders attacked the area and abducted eight children aged between 8 to 10 years and raided a number of cattle.
“Cattle raiders from Rumbek North County attacked Pagor area last week and raided a number of cattle,” he said. “They abducted eight children and when the cattle owner followed them they found the bodies of the children in the bush tied from their hands and legs.”
The family member said they did not find the attackers.
