Gogrial East County Commissioner Wol Anai Anai says that four cattle camps at the border between Warrap State and Unity State were raided yesterday.

The four camps located in Twic County and Gogrial East were attacked at about 11:00 at night. He estimated that 1000 cattle were taken from each camp. Two people were reported to have been killed and others were wounded, he said, without being able to provide details.

Wol also complained that trucks carrying foods have not reached his county even though they took off from Juba some days ago. “I don’t understand what happened to them on the way,” he said.

He said about 10 vehicles were expected to came to Gogrial East County with a total number of 5,000 sacks of food items.
