Cases of allergies in Abyei

Agok Teaching Hospital in Abyei is experiencing an outbreak of allergies among children and adults, raising concerns among residents on the health conditions.

Dr. Victor Achian Arol, the head of small operations in Agok Teaching Hospital, told Radio Tamazuj that they receive between 90 and 120 cases of allergies, injuries and outpatients on a daily basis, as well as people infected by abscesses.

Dr. Arol attributed the reason of the poor health conditions to the rainy season and the environmental conditions, asserting that there was no treatment in the hospital which has wards for emergency cases and injured war victims.
