Capo FC defeats Tahrir FC in qualifiers for South Sudan Cup 2016

Capo FC (in blue) was able to win over Tahrir FC (in white) by one goal to nil on Tuesday at Juba Stadium in in the Juba Football association qualifiers for the South Sudan Cup 2016.

Capo FC’s player Thomas scored in the second half of the match. With this win Tahrir FC is knocked out and Capo FC will face Atlabara FC in the second stage in a knockout match on Saturday.

12 teams from division two clubs are participating in this qualifier tournament: Capo, Tahrir, Talanga, Nil, City, Nyakuron, Nujum, Ithat, Huria, Black Eagle, Zalzal, and Simba. Participating division one clubs are: Atlabara, Malakia, Kator, Nasir, Mareikh , Rabita, Hilal, Gudele, Rainbow, and Munuki.

Today, Wednesday, Talanga will face Nil, and on Friday, City will face Nyakuron. On Saturday, Nujum will face Ithat, on Sunday, Black Eagle will face Huria, and on Monday Zalzal will face Simba.

The last match in the JFA qualifiers for the South Sudan Cup will be on Friday, 15 April.
