Cairo Embassy in Juba opens new health units in military hospital

The Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in South Sudan Ayman al-Jamal opened a dialysis unit, endoscopy unit and full operation room at the military hospital in Juba.

The Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in South Sudan Ayman al-Jamal opened a dialysis unit, endoscopy unit and full operation room at the military hospital in Juba.

Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement that a plane carrying medical assistance donated by the Egyptian Ministry of Defense arrived to Juba on 3 May with a team of Egyptian experts to operate the equipment for the units and to train medical staff during the last two weeks.

The units were opened in a ceremony organized by the military hospital in collaboration with the Egyptian embassy and was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic missions in the country and officials including the defense minister and his chief of general staff, the statement said.
