A delegation from the United Kingdom has recently visited Sherkole camp for Blue Nile refugees in Ethiopia last week, a native administration leader said.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, several native administration leaders said the visit was in coordination with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Administration for Refugees Affairs (ARA).
The visit of the British delegation was aimed at acquainting itself with challenges the Blue Nile refugees are facing especially children and widows at the camp.
For their part, the refugees complained about inadequate food being given to them by humanitarian organizations. They also complained about poor healthcare as well as shortages of medicines, among other things.
