Damazin town in Sudan’s Blue Nile state is facing a shortage of bread at bakeries due to lack of flour in the area, citizens told Radio Tamazuj.

Bakery owners said the state has not yet received its quantity of flour from the national government.

Several citizens said they had to line up for several hours to get bread. They said the lack of flour has also hit others towns in Blue Nile state, prompting bakeries to halt operations.
