At least three people were killed and one other person wounded during a brawl among local residents in Duk Pagak County of South Sudan’s Jonglei State, a government official said.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Sunday, Jonglei State Governor Philip Aguer said the incident occurred on Friday when a quarrel erupted amongst residents at a local bar leaving three dead and one person injured.
Governor Aguer pointed out that the situation is calm in greater Duk area, adding that security has been relatively stable since the beginning of April.
