Brawl at South Sudanese refugee camp leaves 3 dead in White Nile

Three people living in the Khor Waral refugee camp in Sudan’s White Nile State were killed in a brawl among South Sudanese refugees last week.

Three people living in the Khor Waral refugee camp in Sudan’s White Nile State were killed in a brawl among South Sudanese refugees last week.

Multiple sources told Radio Tamazuj on Friday that the three refugees lost their lives after fighting broke out among the refugees in the camp.

They pointed out that police authorities arrested some suspects after the incident, adding investigations are underway. The same sources noted that the police asked all camp leaders to report any criminal acts in the camp.

White Nile state is home to thousands of South Sudanese citizens who fled violence in their country.
