Last week, spokesman of the Dinka Bor youth said they had withdrawn from Kotchar and Nanam areas to give peace a chance between the two tribes.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday, John Achuan, Boma State Minister of Information confirmed that the Dinka Bor youth have completely returned to Jonglei State.

“Yes, according to Philip Aguer at a meeting, he also confirmed the withdrawal. Even our governor of Boma, Ismail Konyi also confirmed that the Dinka Bor youth have finally returned to Bor Counties,” Said.

Last week, John Achuan, Information Minister of Boma State said at least 36 people, mostly women and children were killed in the recent attack on Nanam area. He claimed that unconfirmed numbers of people were also killed in Kotchar and Manybol areas.
