“What we need is more students from our community to go to medical school,” said Dr. Okony Simon Morri, State Minister of Health.

To combat the workers shortage, the local ministry is planning to send 11 students to study health sciences in Juba next year.

Morri added that 9 students have recently completed their studies in Ethiopia and are now working as nurses and clinical officers Pochalla County.
