Boma state governor partly reshuffles cabinet

South Sudan’s Boma State governor, David Yau Yau has reshuffled his cabinet in series of gubernatorial decrees issued last week, an official said.

Beko Konyi, Boma State’s mining minister told Radio Tamazuj Sunday that several officials were removed and new ones appointed in decrees that were issued on May 22 and May 24 respectively.

“Ministers relieved include Natabo Abraham(Local government), Jay Adingngora (Agriculture), Boutrus Ochalla (Labor), Lydia Peter (Gender), Margaret Golla (Information), Simon Bala (Youth), and Achon John (Animal resource),” he said.

Konyi said the new ministers include Achon John for local government, Agade Obang for labor, Paul Barbalo for youth, Ateti Philip for gender, John Kaka for information, Nyigwo Badok for Agriculture, and Augustino Kabacha for animal resources.

Beko also pointed out that Jebel Boma County Commissioner Jeremiah Lotipoy was dismissed and reappointed head the state peace commission. A new commissioner for Jebel Boma County has not been appointed.

No reasons were given for the reshuffle, according to the state mining minister.
