Boma ministers were flown to Pibor town Sunday after being stuck in the capital Juba for more than two weeks due to lack of funds to cater for their flight to Pibor.
“We arrived in Pibor yesterday afternoon, we were about ten,” Olul Akulbech, State Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries told Radio Tamazuj.
He pointed out that the flight from Juba to Pibor was provided by the UN mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).
The ministers are expected to hold their first cabinet meeting on Monday in Pibor town where they would discuss issues facing the state.
The governor of Boma State Ismail Konyi had appointed seven state ministers and three commissioners earlier this month in Juba.
