Boma governor vows to recover abducted children and stolen cattle

The newly appointed governor of South Sudan’s Boma State Ismail Konyi has promised to recover stolen heads of cattle and abducted children in Pochalla North and South Counties when he arrives in Pibor town.

Governor Konyi was speaking to representatives of greater Adongo in Juba on Thursday.

Reportedly, about 2,400 head of cattle were raided by suspected criminals from Pibor area since last year and that about eight children were abducted by gunmen since November last year.
