The governor of Boma state has vowed to get back abducted children from Torit State, Torit state governor said.

At least seven children were reportedly abducted from Kudo payam in Torit West County recently. A group of youth from Boma state was accused of abducting the children.

Governor Tobiolo Alberio Oromo told reporters on Tuesday that the governor of Boma state David Yau Yau had promised to return the children abducted from Torit.

“I have talked to the governor of Boma state Gen. Yau Yau and his deputy. The governor promised to work very hard with his commissioners to recover the abducted children,” he said.

Oromo urged the local youth to protect their area.
