Authorities in Torit County in South Sudan Torit State have urged boda-boda operators to avoid over speeding during Christmas celebrations.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj today, Torit County Commissioner Fermo Peter Isara said that the boda-boda riders should to be aware of the dangers of over speeding.

 ‘’They have to reduce the speed along main roads since majority of the population is going to the church. The young children and the elderly are also moving,” he said.

Commissioner further said security is a shared responsibility. ‘’Everybody in Torit, let’s work for the security of the state. This security is not just for the police or security personnel.  All of us have to work for security,” he said.
