A source that requested anonymity told Radio Tamazuj that El Mak Adel-Malik Adam Hamdan of El Keili North in the Kurmuk locality and Omda Bade Khalifa Kabash Gali have been arrested. The lawyer El Agib Zarouq was also allegedly arrested.

The leaders had recently complained about the state governor’s move to sell land for investment purposes.
