Hundreds of secondary students from Sudan’s Blue Nile State living in Sherkole (Kubri Khamsa) refugee camp in Ethiopia will start their examinations today, according to camp authorities.
About 220 Sudanese students will sit for the Ethiopian Secondary School Certificate, camp supervisor Boulos Ngongu told Radio Tamazuj.
The camp accommodates a large number of people, mostly from Blue Nile where conflict erupted in 2011 between the Sudan Armed Forces with allied militias and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North.
