Blue Nile State to launch regular flights to Khartoum

The first direct flights between Damazin town in Sudan’s Blue Nile State and Khartoum are expected to be launched on Thursday.

The first direct flights between Damazin town in Sudan’s Blue Nile State and Khartoum are expected to be launched on Thursday.

Blue Nile Minister of Finance Mohammed Hashim Hussein issued a ministerial decree broadcast on the state government-owned TV forming a committee to organize the direct flights between the two states.

The committee comprises one director-general at the finance ministry, a representative of banks, another member representing the commerce department, a representative of the National Security and Intelligence Service, as well as the director of Damazin Airport.
