Blue Nile traditional leaders living in Bambasi refugee camp in Ethiopia accused the Khartoum government and SPLA-North rebels of excluding them from taking part in the peace talks in Addis Ababa.
Khartoum has been fighting the SPLA-North rebels in Blue Nile and South Kordofan states since 2011.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj Thursday, several native administration leaders said the parties to the conflict in the Two Areas are indifferent to the immense suffering of the conflict-affected people in refugee camps.
Babakir El Maboub, a prominent omda at the camp, said the Khartoum government and SPLA-North rebels have sidelined them from the peace talks.
El Mabour said the native administration is ready to take part in negotiations so peace is realised as soon as possible.
The Sudanese government on Wednesday announced it accepted a proposal put forth by the AU chief negotiator Thabo Mbeki for the resumption of the stalled peace talks with the rebels by early February in Addis Ababa.
