The governor of Sudan’s Blue Nile State Hamad Yasin Hamad has directed on Sunday for the resettlement of nomads who returned from South Sudan in El-Tadamun locality.
He directed the state authorities to immediately allocate lands for them.
This statement came after a meeting with the state minister of agricultural and El-Tadamun locality commissioner.
Hamad stressed that lands allocated for the returned nomads should be handed to them urgently.
Hundreds of nomad families who had crossed to South Sudan in search of water and grazing have returned back to Blue Nile State since the independence of South Sudan.
