9000 government workers Sudan’s Blue Nile state haven't been paid salaries, some of the unpaid employees said.

The employees accused the ministry of finance of failing to pay their earnings on time, including allowances which were raised last year.

Sources in the state workers union said the ministry is deliberately hiding a circular from the national government which they say has reduced the amount of money to be paid.
