A source told Radio Tamazuj Sunday that people turned up for the celebrations in Damazin, Ruseires, and other areas affected by the conflict in October.

The celebrations will end on Thursday evening at a ceremony to be attended by traditional leaders, according to the same source.

On 2 October, the Blue Nile refugee community at Tango camp in Ethiopia gathered to celebrate the harvest feast of the Gumuz tribe.

The celebration was also attended by refugees and members of civil society organizations in the presence of the Gumuz tribe.
