Black Hawk victorious in Yida wrestling bout

The Black Hawk wrestling squad defeated the Stars of the Mountains in Yida refugee camp in Unity state on Tuesday during a weekly face-off. The winning squad used 11 wrestlers against the Stars’ 15, with a particularly strong showing from wrestler Nimer Algoz who won three matches for the winning team. ‘The Hyena’ and two others, Jamus and Khawadri, also pulled off victories during the wrestling at Yusif Kuwa Makki Square Thousands of fans both men and women attended the match watching from the sidelines of the field or from the trees. The battle was refereed by Nimeiri Mohamed, who faced some heckling from the crowd saying that he was not fair.
