Bees attack Kadugli football stadium

A match between Al Hilal Khartoum FC and Al Hilal Kadugli FC was postponed on Tuesday afternoon after swarms of bees stormed the Kadugli Stadium in Sudan’s South Kordofan state.

A match between Al Hilal Khartoum FC and Al Hilal Kadugli FC was postponed on Tuesday afternoon after swarms of bees stormed the Kadugli Stadium in Sudan’s South Kordofan state.

Players and fans reportedly ran outside the stadium, according to multiple sources. One Kadugli FC supporter lost consciousness after been stung by bees, but he was resuscitated.

Kadugli town is surrounded by mountains teeming with bees. The area is also known for honey production.
