Traffic police authorities in South Sudan’s Aweil State have announced a special security plan for traffic to handle accidents during the Christmas holiday.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj Thursday, Aweil state’s traffic police chief Arkangelo Guot Ngor said the security plan for traffic was introduced over the past few weeks.
He pointed out that they deployed more traffic police personnel to new locations to handle traffic accidents during the holiday.
The top traffic police officer stressed they will exert efforts to reduce road accidents, pointing out that traffic incidents have reduced this year compared to last year.
