At least 78 teachers in Aweil West County are being trained for education development and reporting practices through a training provided by NGO’s.
The Aweil West County education director Mr.Gop Koryom said that the two day training will have a significant impact on the education sector, and was funded by Save the Children and UNICEF.
“This training on education development and reporting improvement spearheaded by Save the Children with funding from UNICEF is of great help actually to our teachers and I appreciate the partners for standing with us in education sector”, Koryom said.
He added that more teachers will be trained in Marial Baai in the coming days, and that incentives for girls education has been successfully distributed. There have not been any report of financial issues in the county, Koryom said.
