Aweil State Legislative Assembly has extended its recess beyond the planned end date of 6 September by nearly three weeks.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, the Aweil State Parliament Information Chairperson Benson Upuothmalo announced that the assembly will not resume sessions tomorrow due to administration issues which are facing them.
He confirmed that the house will be reopened on date 20 September.
Benson explained, “I am informing the members of the assembly of Aweil State that the assembly will delay another three weeks for administrative issues.” Previously it was reported that the assembly is out of fuel.
