The Aweil Governor’s Cup Tournament which kicked off last week is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.

More than sixteen local football clubs are competing. 10 teams are from first division clubs, while six others are from second division clubs.

Bakhit Garang Akech, Director General of Aweil’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, said the championship in ongoing, adding that the cup will be given to the winning club, besides other valuable gifts to best players, goal makers and referees who would be considered by the high committee for the governor’s championship.
