The governor of South Sudan’s Aweil State issued an order appointing new government officials in the state on Thursday.

Governor Yournew Wol Kuot appointed Gabriel Kuol Lual as the new minister of health and Gabriel Keer Deng as the new mayor of Aweil town.

The top state official also appointed John Akuei Lony as the new commissioner of Ariakriak County.

No reasons were cited for changes.
