Health authorities in South Sudan’s Aweil East state say they have received a consignment of medical supplies from the national health ministry in Juba last week.
Chan Akol, Aweil East minister of health and environment told Radio Tamazuj that the medical supplies will be distributed to Aweil State primary health centers and county hospitals.
“The consignment contains 737 mixed cartons, that’s an equivalent of 13 tons and they belong to 25 Primary Health Centers/Units and 2 county hospitals. Despite the fact that they are not enough we still appreciate the national ministry of health for the support to Aweil state,” minister Akol added.
