Bul Bul Dor Athian, the appointed chief whip of Aweil East state parliament HAS pledged to promote cooperation between the executive and members of parliament as well as other institutions.

Bul, who took oath of office last Friday after his appointment in late April, said cooperation between different institutions of the state administration was very important in service delivery and unity of the people as well as promotion of peaceful coexistence in the area.

“Cooperation between the legislature, executive and other organs of the government is very important and I would like to be one of the issues which I emphasizd and solicit the support of the members during my swearing in,” he said.

“Because if we cooperate, we will achieve a lot as members of one government. It will also promote unity, peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and harmony,” explained Bul in an interview on Tuesday from Wanyjok, the headquarters of the state parliament.
