Aweil East state government spokesman Garang Malong says the government is aware of challenges facing its citizens, and it will deliver the much needed services once the country’s situation improves.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, Malong said there are many issues affecting the people including ill-equipped health facilities, access to water and poor infrastructure.

“Our people we know they need hospitals, we know they need water points and we know they need youth centers,” he said.

Malong urged the people of Aweil East to continue to persevere until the national crisis is resolved.

“We don’t have that capacity at the moment to give them that. But we believe that as the situation gets normal we will be able to provide to the community,” he concluded.
