The governor of South Sudan's Aweil East State has removed the commissioner of Malualbaai County and replaced him with a new official.

Governor Deng Deng Akuei, according to the order which became public on Thursday, removed  Angac Akot from his assignment and replaced him with Peter Ruoc Mawien Ruoc.

No reasons were cited for changes.

 Angac was the first official appointed as the county commissioner when the area was upgraded to become a county following creation of states in 2015.
