The governor of South Sudan’s Aweil East has issued an order appointing seven county commissioners following division and creation of more counties in the state.

Governor Deng Deng Akuei, according to the order released to the public on Friday, appointed Thiel Deng Thiel as the new commissioner for Manyiel County, Thomas Yel Deng as the new commissioner for Lou County, Santino Deng Yel as the new county commissioner for Agur-piny County, Peter Wek Yai, new commissioner for Wun-Diing County.

Other officials include Marko Aguer Doordit as the new county commissioner for Warguet, Kerubino Agok Aguer as the commissioner for Wun Lang County.

No reason was given by the order explaining the motive for creating more counties.
