Aweil East education staffs call on governor to improve work conditions

Workers at the Ministry of Education in Aweil East State are calling on the state governor Deng Deng Akuei to address their concerns over poor working conditions.

Workers at the Ministry of Education in Aweil East State are calling on the state governor Deng Deng Akuei to address their concerns over poor working conditions.

They workers made their appeal on Friday last week on occasion of a reception at the ministry’s premises to officially welcom their new minister appointed recently, William Ater Lual.

Aweil East state Minister of information Ayuel Yai Deng told Radio Tamazuj that lack of mobility, low grades, lack of promotion and stationeries in schools are among some the of the pressing issues the staff want the governor to address.

He pointed out that the governor promised to improve working conditions of staffs but he asked them to exercise patience as the government is facing a lot of problems.
